Our annual response to the New England R.E. Journal's annual appraisal questionnaire will be published in their Appraisal Issue in October. Nationally, our review of Math for Appraisers was reprinted in R.E. Valuation Magazine (REVM), a nation-wide publication sent to every licensed appraiser in the US. Moreover, REVM's editor-in-chief, called to ask me to write an article on "R.E. Newsletter Publishing". The article will appear in REVM's Fall '96 Issue.
In other news, I've been invited to speak before the Maine
Assessors Association in November. And lest I forget, our PVA
Web site www.shore.net/~straub/
hit the big time recently, pulling
down the highest "must see", rating by Excite TM,
one of the Web's largest and most prominent search and review services.
With regard to unusual appraisal assignments, I'm working on a waterfront property in Essex County, MA and three golf course appraisals for the town of Falmouth, ME. As part of the research, I stumbled upon an excellent book and an extensive review is included in this issue of PVM.
Lastly, of course as always, if you need appraisal services performed, call me at 978-462-4347
