What's New!

During the past quarter, completed narrative appraisal assignments included a $35 million R&D/office facility in Middlesex County, MA; an appraisal update to a process manufacturing plant in Knox County, ME; a waterfront property in Essex County, MA; and the completion of a town-wide commercial reassessment project in Middlesex County, MA.

Consulting assigments included appearing before the Freeport, ME Board of Assessment Review testifying on the value of a national-chain restaurant (my opinion of value was held up to be correct by the Board). In addition, I assisted the Freeport Assessor establish market value on a unique, fast-food, take-out restaurant in the heart of the downtown.

Also during the past quarter, I spoke at the Middlesex County Mass. Assessor's Workshop in Chelmsford, MA.

I'm still working on narrative appraisals of three golf courses in Maine and I will be speaking at the NH Assessor's Association Educational Conference, November 19th on "Checking the Quality of Your Commercial Assessments".
