During the past quarter, completed appraisal/consulting assignments included narrative reports on three golf courses in the Greater Portland area, appearing as an expert appraisal witness before the Massachusetts Appellate Tax Board on a 650,000 SF R&D property, as well as aiding various assessing departments settle tax abatement requests and pending appeals.

In addition, I was an invited speaker at the New Hampshire Assessors Association Conference. I spoke on checking the quality of commercial assessments. Subsequently, the conference coordinator wrote expressing "deep appreciation and gratitude for your outstanding job. Your knowledge and expertise were most helpful. All who attended came away with valuable information."

Upcoming appraisal engagements include the revaluation of all the commercial/industrial properties in the town of Kittery, ME, as well as a narrative review appraisal on a very large New England paper manufacturing facility currently assessed in excess of $200 million.
